Welcome to Lovelipop Scans

Hello. Lovelipop Scans here. We are a new shoujo scanlation group that is formed by Chika-chan a.k.a metamorphoKISS a.k.a madamoiselle on October 18, 2008. We are currently recruiting staffs in all fields. No past experience needed and we welcome newbie. For now, there will be no test for the position as yet but I will set up the tests in a very near future. Our group still doesn't have any forum or IRC channel. I'll perhaps create a forum in the future after I'm finished with staffing and stuffs but I don't think I'll make an IRC channel as I think it's just adding my work load. I'm still in my senior year in high school after all. I still need some time for myself and personal life. I'll be adding a chatbox soon but please no SPAM or repeating question on 'When will you release ...?'. We'll be releasing the chapters as soon as it is finished and you'll only slower our work down with your constant nagging. I plan on having at least one release per month as we are new so please wait for the releases patiently.

Forum Updated

Things are quite a mess now that Lovelipop Scans is open for scanlating. We have started on few projects, most are joints and several oneshots. We can't get any huge progress as we are lacking the resources that is, J-E translator and Quality Checker. I've bought original manga that I'll debind for HQ Raws but I will do it step by step. This time is only Tokyo Angels as I found out that Fujii Mihona is the mangaka. I'm a big fans of her GALS! and I'm hoping for her new works. We are desperately recruiting for more staffs. Sorry if I have kind of abandoned the updates here as I'm quite busy with my personal life and with the forum. Well, I'll keep coding for the projects pages which I have some difficulties on. Please stay tuned for more updates in the future. Or if you hate to wait for the update here, you can just join the fun on Our Official Forum. Will wait for you there.

Forum is Now Open

Finally, we have set our forum. It's at ZetaBoards. It's a bit messy right now as I am still implementing some changes on it. I have also put a chatbox in the forum but I use chatango instead of Cbox. My nickname at chatango is MsChika as my favourite nickname, chika-chan, has been taken by someone else. Please interested members to register in the forum and start getting some posts. I'll be finishing the forum and website soon. And, I tried to put on a favicon in both the forum and website. But I haven't find the tools for the forum. Please wait some more.

We will be listing some projects on the projects page soon. We are hoping to get some more projects and we would like to hear from you. If you happens to own or know a good shoujo manga which is not licensed and haven't been scanlated by any other groups, you can send us an e-mail to lovelipop.scans@cloud-realms.com about it and we'll make them a project. It will be really appreciated as we are struggling to get projects. We hope that you can also state the raw source if you know but it is not a must. It's just to help us to get the raws faster. We will be waiting for your request.

Lovelipop Scans is recruiting staffs for all post now. You can see the details on our Recruitment Page. Note that Proofreaders positions are limited as we haven't get many projects on hand. Helps are really needed as currently we only have like 4 staffs active including me, Chika-chan. Most raws are taken page-to-page by me from Chinese Online Reading Sites. I'm currently working as Admin, PR, QC and Raw Provider. Some raws will be taken from Esthetique after getting permission from the original scanner or raw provider. I'm currently planning for our first release. We might do many joints with other group first as starter but we have to see the condition as to how many staffs we can get within this period of time. So, please anyone interested, apply to me via e-mails that are listed on the recruitment page. Reply will be send to you as soon as I read it.

I have added some new pages: About Us, Join Us, Staffs, Disclaimer and Contact Us pages. About Us is basically just a simple introduction of Lovelipop Scans and our standards. It is more like a quick FAQ but at least it is more user friendly than a FAQ page. I have also added a new Cbox and I hope visitors can post something there for comments and suggestions. Anyway, please once again I beg you, no SPAM on the Cbox.
